Our Gold Coast shed building team has put up some beauties over the last couple of years, and it always feels great to get positive feedback from a customer. When Andy got in touch with us about building a shed on his Yatala property, we clicked with him straight away. This made the design process nice and easy - he had a solid idea of what he was after, but was very open to professional input to help him get the Gold Coast shed he wanted and needed. The result is pictured above - a stunning skillion shed that fully maximises the available space Andy set aside for it.

Standout Shed Features
Andy knew what he wanted out of this shed build, and it was good to be able to not only accommodate his requests but also guide him towards other custom features. Here are some of the standouts:
Multiple roller doors: three roller doors at the front, complemented by a fourth side roller door, enhance the flexible functionality of this Yatala shed. Our roller doors come from leading local manufacturer Steel-Line, based in Brisbane. They’re the best rollers going around.
Windows for natural light: Those high windows you see above the roller doors will have an almost skylight effect, filling the interior with natural light during the day. All our windows come from our local supplier Bradnams, who give us extensive customisation abilities with the size and quantities of the windows in each shed.
Glass sliding door: This is a nice idea because it gives flexibility to your shed access, while also letting additional light flood in. Bradnams also do a quality job on sliding doors.
BlueScope Steel and COLORBOND materials: With bones of BlueScope Steel and cladded with the inimitable tones and toughness of COLORBOND, this is a rugged and robust shed that will serve Andy well for decades to come.
Skillion Roof: The single slope of the flat skillion roof is a popular choice for many reasons. It offers excellent drainage, while the angle of the roof maximises internal space.
