We get asked the question all the time: “How much is my shed going to cost?” Stockman Sheds isn’t the sort of company with a catalogue of cheap sheds you can thumb through and order the one you like best online… then it turns up and looks nothing like the pictures.
No sir, we build custom sheds after extensive consultation with you about your shed vision, what you need a new shed for and the landscape it’ll be sitting in.
This means we don’t do a standard range. All our sheds are custom-designed and built, each with a unique price tag. Keep reading and we’ll give you a price guide for the size shed you’d like. How Much Will My Shed Cost?
Tailor-made sheds come with custom prices dependant on a number of factors and features. Here are a few things that determine how much your Stockman Shed will cost.
Shed Size
The bigger your shed, the higher your price tag. A bigger shed uses more raw materials — more steel, concrete, and other shed components, which will add to the bill. Some of the more popular shed dimensions we get requested at Stockman include:
6 x 12 metres
9 x 15 metres
12 x 8 metres
15 x 30 metres
10 x 10 metres
Height will also be a factor. For example, a six-metre high shed will incur higher costs than a three-metre high one.
Windows
We believe in only using the best Australian suppliers, which is why we choose Bradnams to supply all our windows. From awning style windows to bi-fold ones, louvres to fixed glass, we can do it all thanks to the quality range Bradnams offers.
The number and size of the windows you include in your shed is completely up to you - part of our completely customisable service.
If you wish to use your own supplier, we can pre-engineer the holes in the wall to exactly the size of the window you want to add, making for seamless installation.
Additional Features
We love helping you bring your shed vision to life. To do that, we offer a range of additional features you can personalise it with. Some examples could include:

Roof
The type of roof you choose is going to be based on aesthetic preferences and functionality requirements. It will also depend on the space you have available and the location of your shed.
The different styles to choose from include a skillion roof (pictured right), a gable style roof or a flat roof. A gable roof has a high point in the centre, with the roof sloping away on either side, like an upside-down ‘v’.
Once the style of roof is locked in, there are additional features you can think about adding. These could be ‘whirlybirds’ for throughflow, engineering to accommodate solar panels and custom eaves. We love a good eave at Stockman!
Doors
The right doors are essential to the overall functionality of your shed, as well as the look and feel. We use Steel-Line roller doors made in Brisbane to an exacting standard in sizes up to 5.4-metres wide x 5.1-metres high. You can include as many roller doors as you like on your shed, and all our doors are windlocked so they won’t blow in during a heavy storm.
Personal Access Doors are another customisable touch allowing for additional access points. These are a convenient option for personnel wanting to use a shed without opening the bigger doors. Larnec supply all our doors, another emphasis on our commitment to local quality.
