Silver Ridge Shed With a View

You may remember a blog post we did a few months ago of the team laying a concrete slab for a shed in Silver Ridge. You can revisit it here, or check the photo below for a reminder! We’ve finished work on that shed and she’s a real beauty, so we wanted to share some of the updated images with you. Keep scrolling down to check them out!

Tailor Made Sheds

Silver Ridge is such an epic part of Toowoomba, so it was a real treat turning up to work every day to construct this shed. Every shed we construct at Stockman is custom-designed with our client’s specifications and vision in mind. We love the aesthetic these new shed owners went for - the minimal ethos of the off-white walls nicely complements the natural grey tones of the roof and roller doors. It’s a striking shed, a real head-turner… have a look at the image below and I’m sure you’ll agree!

Doors Built to Last

As you can see above the wide driveway gives easy access from the road and ample turning room in front of the roller doors. And speaking of the roller doors, how good do they look? They really are vital to the look and functionality of a shed, and in this case we think they hit the nail on the head. The varied height of the two doors is a nice touch that suits what the owners will use the shed for.

It’s worth mentioning that at Stockman Sheds we only use Steel-Line Garage Doors, a local Australia company with products tested and proven in the local climate. We’d stake a lot on the quality of these roller doors, they really seem to last forever. Have a closer look in this image below:

You can also see the personal access door in the images above. this offers a fast and efficient access point for people, meaning they don’t have to open the roller doors if they’re accessing the shed personally, without a vehicle or any machinery. At Stockman, we always use Larnec for our personal access doors. Again, they’re a local supplier who build solid products designed for the Australian context.

Bradnams Windows

Speaking of local quality, Bradnams make the best windows in Australia and that’s why we use them in all our sheds Toowoomba and beyond. This shed has the windows nice and high up, great for privacy while still allowing the natural light to flood in. Windows are a major customisation point - our shed designers willsit down and discuss exactly what you need and want from the placement, size and quantity of your shed windows.

I’ll leave you with a few more images of this awesome Toowoomba shed. A couple of other things to notice in them is the standing seam look on the Custom Orb cladding - that’s an aesthetic winner in our books. The whirlybirds on the roof also help with ventilating the shed and keeping temperatures consistent.
