A Toowoomba Aussie Barn
An expansive plot of land that sprawls up the side of a hill in Meringandan is home to one of our latest Aussie barn style sheds, a three-bay beauty done in the Monument tone from COLORBOND®. There’s a lot to love about this Toowoomba shed - it’s extra wide frontage, the ease of access, the way it sublimely blends into its surrounds. It’s a true country shed, with the functionality and the toughness to match.
The Stockman Sheds team was stoked with how this Aussie barn turned out, especially with the additional garaport on the one side that adds the X-factor for machinery and vehicle storage. We wanted to share the images our photographer captured to highlight to you some of the standout features. It was a bit of a windy day, but we still managed to get the drone up and get some good aerials too, which give a great impression of the size of this cracker of a shed. Let’s take a look.
Wide Three Bay Frontage
The beautiful thing about the wide frontage of this Aussie barn is it allows for three separate roller doors to be incorporated. This makes for flexible access and easy storage. The height of the doors and shed means tall farm equipment can be housed easily too. What’s more, it looks sensational, proudly perched on it’s slope overlooking the surrounding countryside!
Garaport Add-On
That’s quite a garaport! A concrete slab, four bays and a high skillion roof for protection from the sun and rain. It’s solidly built - check those steel columns! That’s Bluescope Steel at it’s finest, been used as its intended - to provide rugged, durable structures that will stand the test of time.
Steel Line Roller Doors
Australia produces the best shed components for Australian conditions, end of story. That’s why we only use local suppliers for all the materials that go into our sheds. Those three big roller doors you see on this shed come from Steel-Line, the leading supplier of garage doors in the country. They’re popular because they’re good, and we don’t use anybody else for our roller doors.
Big Country Shed
Big skies, big spaces, big sheds. This is the Australian country and we don’t do things in halves! We like lots of space to store our cars, boats, dirt bikes and machinery. Safe and secure space where they’re protected from the elements, and you can tinker away to your heart’s content. Stockman is always happy to oblige and provide a big shed that does this.

As with all our work, this Meringandan shed is fully custom designed after big chats and consultations with the property owners. We discussed the vision they had for their shed, what they needed it for and how they imagined it would look. Our designers got to work, we took care of all the approvals they needed from Toowoomba council, and our legend shed building team constructed this awesome Aussie barn.
