A Residential Shed in Kleinton
Located in the northern reaches of Toowoomba where suburbs sprawl into rural land, Kleinton is a growing area where you’ll find plenty of homes and developments popping up. It’s perfect country for a residential shed, and this recent one we built there recently is a picture-perfect example of a functional, spacious and visually appealing shed. Our Toowoomba shed builders were able to get it up nice and fast for the property owner, which meant he can make use of it while his home is still being built.
As with all our projects, we worked with the owner to custom design a shed that fitted their vision for their property and could fulfil the exact purpose they need it for. That’s the beauty of a fully bespoke shed builder! This particular one measured nine metres long by six metres wide, with a height of three metres. 6 x 9 is a pretty sought-after residential shed size, providing secure accommodation for two vehicles plus enough space for a workshop.

We only use COLORBOND® steel cladding for the walls and roof of the sheds we build at Stockman. Made of Durable BlueScope Steel
This is one tough shed, made from only the best raw materials and components in the country. Materials don’t come much tougher than BlueScope Steel, the local Australian steel that is the gold standard for quality construction around the world. We use this steel because its been tried and tested in Australian conditions, and proven to be able to withstand the harsh climate year after year. If you want to build a robust shed, don’t settle for anything less than BlueScope.
Dual Roller Doors
Access equals functionality in outdoor steel structures, which is why roller doors play such an important part in the overall shed design. These two large roller doors will allow for easy parking of vehicles, trailers and other machinery, while also letting masses of natural light flood into the interior. They come from Steel-Line in Brisbane, as all our roller doors do. We go with this supplier because of their commitment to quality and their proven track record of producing top notch products. Personal Access Door
To take the ease of access one step further, the owner requested we install a personal access, or PA door, on this residential shed in Kleinton. A PA door lets foot traffic in and out seamlessly and quickly. It takes away the need to open the big roller doors if you just need to dash into the shed quickly to pick something up. They’re convenient and extremely secure. Our PA doors are made by Larnec, a local company renowned for making world-class products.
Heavy Duty Concrete Slab
A strong shed needs a strong foundation, it’s as simple as that. At Stockman, we do our concrete slabs right. Our concrete is 32MPa, putting it at a higher strength than the average shed builders out there. We install piers under every column, and each slab has rebated edges and edge beams to help support the walls. These slabs are as tough as the sheds we build on them.
